Cleaning at Home

We follow a proven strategy to achieve the most comprehensive cleaning.

Our team use a cleaning checklist which ensures we don't miss a thing or take all day to get the job done!

Why you should clean your Windows.

Glass is porous and collects dirt. Over time this can make some glass fragile and lose transparency.

Clean windows increase your house price - estate agents and businesses can testify they have a direct impact on other properties that are exactly the same.

Dirty windows will reflect a careless attitude whereas clean ones attract more visitors to businesses and house buyers alike.

A property well cared for is worth the investment!

Clean windows increase your heat efficiency - Dirt particles on the surface and in the pores of the glass simply reflect more UV light, preventing the sun from warming up your house.

Less Maintenance in the long run - If you have your windows cleaned regularly whether its by yourself or from a professional you will be saving yourself any future restoration expenses.

Neglecting your windows could lead to problems with the glass cracks and scratches, glass mould and spots will gradually destroy the glass and may force you into replacing the whole window pane at some point in the future.

Top tip : If you havent had your windows cleaned in some time it is best to have them cleaned both inside and out otherwise you could miss out on the full effect of clean windows on only one side. This in itself will stop you needing them cleaned again sooner than you think you need to.

Dusting

Dust and Damp-Wipe

Dust the right way – from top to bottom

When you’re dusting, work with gravity – not against it. That means starting your cleaning at the highest possible levels and working down. Dust settles on ceilings and walls, as well as floors. When you’re dusting bookshelves furniture etc. Start at the top and work down.

You’ll collect dust more effectively if you use the right tools for the job, microfibre cloths trap dust much more effectively than feather dusters and anytime the surface you’re working on allows it, dampen the cloth slightly before you start.

There are a few spots in your home that are real dust traps and often get overlooked, things like plant leaves, window blinds and skirting boards. A little time invested in cleaning them will make a big difference to reducing the levels of dust in your home.

These dusting tips will help to lower allergens and improve your home's air quality. Use a lightly Dampened microfiber pad for high or hard-to-reach spots.

To clean slatted blinds, use the string to close them one way and dust them, then close them the other way and repeat. It's more effective and efficient than cleaning each slat individually.

Don’t forget to clean the tops of doors, fans, light fixtures, picture frames, and knick-knacks. When wiping the face of framed photos, TV screens, and computer monitors, use glass cleaner on your microfiber cloth to avoid streaking.

First, get your cleaning supplies ready. Choose the best shower glass cleaner for your needs. Your supply setup should include the following:

  1. Spray bottle

  2. Scrub sponge
